About the event
To kick off the holiday season, VGC will be having a putting contest and pot luck dinner at First Responders Recreation Center in The Villages on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Â Â
Guests should bring $2.00 per person  to give to our event leader, Rick Reneau, when you arrive at the recreation center.
4:00 PM- Â Bring your dish to share to the recreation center and plug your warmer or crockpot into the outlets or store perishables, etc. in refrigerator. Â Claudia Sirmon will stay with food and help set up the food when putting is complete.
4:30 PM - Putting contest will begin under Rick's direction.  Play 18 holes of putting with a score of 3 max per hole.  You can pick up after 2 try’s and record a 3.  Try to keep the game moving so we can go in and enjoy our delicious meal!
